👩🍳 Instructions
-
1
Pat salmon fillets thoroughly dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper, then lightly brush with olive oil.
-
2
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, sesame oil (if using), and red pepper flakes (if using) until well combined.
-
3
Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (195°C) for 3-5 minutes. Lightly spray or brush the air fryer basket with oil.
-
4
Brush about half of the honey garlic glaze over the salmon fillets. Place the salmon, skin-side down if applicable, in the preheated air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd. Cook in batches if necessary.
-
5
Air fry for 7-10 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. At the 5-minute mark, open the air fryer and brush the remaining glaze over the salmon. Close the basket and continue cooking.
-
6
Once cooked, carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer and let it rest for 2 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley or green onions, if desired, and serve immediately.
💡 Notes
For best results, use salmon fillets that are roughly 1-inch thick for even cooking. Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of your fish and your air fryer model. This salmon is excellent served with rice, quinoa, or roasted vegetables. The glaze can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
