👩🍳 Instructions
-
1
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
-
2
Place bacon slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy. Remove and set aside on a paper towel-lined plate.
-
3
Lightly grease a small, oven-safe ramekin or silicone mold. Crack the egg into it. Alternatively, use a silicone egg ring directly in the air fryer basket.
-
4
Carefully place the egg-filled mold into the air fryer. Cook for 6-10 minutes, depending on desired yolk firmness (6 minutes for runny, 10 for firm). Remove the cooked egg.
-
5
Lightly butter or spray one side of each bread slice. Place one slice butter-side up in the air fryer basket.
-
6
Layer the cooked egg, then the crispy bacon, and finally the cheese slice on top of the bread in the air fryer.
-
7
Place the second slice of bread (butter-side down) on top of the sandwich. Cook for 2-4 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted and gooey.
-
8
Carefully remove the air fryer egg and bacon sandwich. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
💡 Notes
Adjust bacon and egg cooking times based on your specific air fryer model and desired doneness. For best results, ensure ingredients are in a single layer when cooking. For additional flavor, add a dash of hot sauce or a slice of avocado before serving.
