Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain well and rinse briefly under cold water to cool. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the Caesar dressing, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard (if using). Season with black pepper.

Add the cooled pasta and cooked chicken to the dressing mixture. Toss gently until all ingredients are evenly coated.

Just before serving, add the chopped romaine lettuce and garlic croutons to the bowl. Toss lightly to combine.

Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
💡 Notes
For best results, add lettuce and croutons right before serving to maintain their crispness. This salad is excellent for meal prep if you store the dressing-coated pasta/chicken separately from the fresh greens and croutons until serving time.
